With more than 15 years of industry experience, Michael provides strategic oversight for InTrust Fiduciary Group’s consulting services and oversees the firm’s investment management and fiduciary management processes. He offers unbiased guidance in all aspects of retirement plan management, specializing in record-keeping provider analyses, complex plan design and benchmarking, investment policy and fiduciary standards.
Prior to founding InTrust Fiduciary Group in 2009, Michael headed the 401(k) division at Merrill Lynch in Austin, Texas. He consulted in over 100 defined contribution plans and led more than 50 plan conversions.
Michael holds several designations including the Accredited Investment Fiduciary Analyst (AIFA®), Chartered Retirement Plans Specialist (CRPS®), Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor (CRPC®), as well as a Series 66 License.
Michael graduated from The University of Texas at Austin and resides in Austin with his wife and their two children.
